I've lived in Canon City my whole life. It makes me sick to think of where this country is headed. The solutions are in God's Word.

I’m Shocked Again

Tony Miano, who I’ve written about in the past, has his strengths and weaknesses. One of his strengths is preaching the gospel at a murder mill or elsewhere. He was doing just that, and was issued a citation for disorderly conduct. He was tried on that charge recently and found guilty and sentenced to a 30 day suspended sentence.

The  first shocking item is the tremendous stupidity of that judge. While there are many such government employees, the scale of their stupidity always shocks anew.  I’ve said before that while I respect the stand of those who are willing to risk an arrest while doing something perfectly legal, I usually prefer the strategy to work with a lawyer and the city to resolve the misunderstandings of the cops before making myself subject to America’s injustice system.

Public sidewalks are important places for free speech activity. It is the job of police to protect the right of American’s to exercise that God-given right. “Even “loud” and “boisterous . . . religious harangue[s]” constitute speech worthy of protection. See Edwards v. South Carolina, 372 U.S. 229, 233 (1963)”

Here’s the video of Tony being cited, and the second shock comes from the comments in the video.

First of all, I’m disappointed that Miano thanked these cops for trampling his rights and protecting the abortionist. The main shock comes from the stupid comments from Christians.

These commenters lack basic biblical knowledge and critical thinking skills. These cops are protecting a murderer, and trampling on the first amendment rights of an American. These cops are evil dirtbags. They are every bit as bad as Nazi guards standing at the gate of a concentration camp protecting what goes on behind the fence. If that is their job, they must quit! If they attend church they must immediately be placed under church discipline.

First Corinthians 2:15 says the spiritual man discerns all things. These commenters are calling evil cops good. They are unable to discern the most basic things. The level of maturity among Christians in this country is heartbreaking.

Does the Constitution Limit Immigration

I had a short conversation with a conservative who thinks the constitution allows the federal government to regulate immigration. Of course, the constitution has nothing to do with how the government actually operates, but conservatives are supposed to care, right? In reality, they don’t care about the constitution anymore than liberals.

Here’s the conversation, which was later deleted by the “conservative”.

He blew a lot of steam, but never provided any documentation. I was about to provide documentation when he deleted the post, so here is what I found.

This is all the constitution says about federal power on this topic, found in section 8:

4: To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

There is nothing else about immigration or border control anywhere in it. This jives with what we saw in American history, with no government limits on immigration until the 1920s.

But what is the definition of naturalization? Of course, the right to murder babies and for two dudes to get married has been “found” in the constitution, but that isn’t the type of law that conservatives are interested in practicing, right?

Here’s the legal definition of naturalization:

The act of adopting an alien into a nation, and clothing him with all the rights possessed by a natural- born citizen. Boyd v. Nebraska, 143 U. S. 135, 12 Sup. Ct. 375, 36 L. Ed. 103.

The constitution gives the federal government the right to control who becomes a citizen and how. That is fine with me. I don’t think that everyone who comes here to work for a few years or the rest of their lives has to become a citizen.

Pueblo Is Ripping People Off

This is an interesting news story on the local news’ website. It’s worth your time to check it out.

After my wife received a ticket at the 50/Norwood intersection, I looked into ways to fight the ticket. If you don’t show up to the court date in the letter they send, they have to have you personally served. We just ignored it, and were never served. I suppose it doesn’t hurt that we live in another county.

But if everyone fought all their tickets, the system would grind to a halt.

A Seeming Endless Supply of Evil Cops

Cops just keep streaming through the window. Out of all those cops, there is not a single good cop to be found.

For a little bit of background, someone from out-of-state called the cops on these people. The cops were able to see that the allegations  in the phone call (that the woman had injured wrists) were false, but insisted on entering the house anyway, and taking the kids away.

As if all of that wasn’t wicked enough, the cops attempted to erase the video, but didn’t realize the video was uploaded to the cloud.  Thank God!

I hope these people can sue and bankrupt the city.

Cops Killed in Douglas County

This morning the news broke of sheriff’s deputies being called to a domestic disturbance and at least one is dead and others wounded. There is little information about what happened and the killer is still at large.

The purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to protect the people’s right to kill cops. When news first breaks of cops being killed there is too little information to know whether the killer has committed murder. The killing of a cop may be biblically justified and to assume otherwise makes you unamerican and reveals unbiblical thinking. Thousands of Americans have died for our right to bear arms. To assume that every cop who is killed is murdered is to disrespect the sacrifice service men have made to protect our rights found in the constitution (specifically the 2nd Amendment).

That being said, it is always sad when someone dies prematurely and my heart goes out to their families and friends.

“What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms.”
– Thomas Jefferson, letter to James Madison, December 20, 1787

Bootlicking Americans

You were never taught how to be free. You were only taught that you are free.

If you think it’s great that the government pulls you over and doesn’t kill or beat you, but only checks your papers, you are a boot licking slave, and have no idea what freedom is.

Mexico Is More Free Than the U.S.

He makes so many good points in this video.

It’s time to consider moving to a free country, or at least becoming a perpetual tourist in a free country. America isn’t free, and anyone who spreads that falsehood is either confused or lying. There isn’t freedom for the unborn and there isn’t freedom for anyone else. As he referenced in another video, you have to jump through hoops to buy milk. Give me a break.
