I've lived in Canon City my whole life. It makes me sick to think of where this country is headed. The solutions are in God's Word.

The laws against abortion are on the books in every state. Roe v. Wade was actually the SCOTUS vs. the State of Texas. Under the state laws of at least 35 states, abortions are still illegal. Sheriffs are not elected to serve the Supreme Court. They serve their counties, and thus, they enforce the laws of their counties and states, not opinions of the Supreme Court. Therefore, if these Sheriffs were what they said they were, they would enforce the laws of their counties and states.

Modern police has supplanted what America originally had: citizen’s militia. The real authority, morally and constitutionally, is that citizen’s militia of the Second Amendment, and the courts. That authority has been de facto taken away from them, and given to an institution of executive power – the police.

I am calling the people back to their Biblical and Constitutional origins. I never said that individual citizens are supposed to shut the abortion clinics. But I am saying that we are supposed all, as individual citizens, to work and fight to restore the Biblical order. In a Biblical order, the citizen’s militia will suppress any attempt at setting up abortion clinics. Under the current order, police keeps them open, and that is what I use to prove that this social order is not Biblical.

Yes, eventually we will get to shutting down the abortion clinics, in defiance of the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, there is work to be done: educate the people to know why the current situation persists, and why they can’t change it. One reason: they believe police is a legitimate authority. They need to break free of that lie. It is not. Police is an occupation army, and we should treat it as one. That is, shrewdly and carefully undermine its authority until the time is ripe to abolish it. And yes, eventually, we as citizens will shut down the clinics.

The issue is timing not consistency. Paul knew slavery would be abolished one day. He just started the fight strategically, not stupidly.

Oh Well, Life’s Tough

There’s an article in the Daily Record that talks about how mobile home owners who don’t pay their taxes are having investors buy out their taxes and coming to charge them full retail to buy the house back. It sounds like they might have as little as $100-200 in the tax liens, and are then selling the mobile homes for $8000.

The conservative commentator might say, “Oh well, life’s tough. You better pay your taxes. You better obey the law, or that kind of thing will happen.”

The theonomist says the government is stealing tax money from everyone (including those who pay on time) and needs to repent. Property taxes are the most egregious, evil form of taxation that exists. I’m angry at the treasurer and assessor for stealing all this money and ripping people off. I’m also angry that the investors would behave this way.

I’ve purchased property tax liens in the past, and I’ve repented. I no longer own them, I was paid off by the owners. I will no longer participate in such a wicked system.

I used to think the most wicked people in this town might be drug dealers or pornographers. Now, I believe the most wicked people are the county clerk and recorder, who issues gay marriage licenses, the treasurer who aids in the theft of  millions of dollars in property taxes, and the mayor (who currently supports an immoral ballot measure increase sales tax). I would pursue church discipline against them, if I thought I wouldn’t be laughed out of their church because Christians don’t know the difference between right and wrong.

Those officials are nice people. I’m sure they’re nicer than me. They may even be Christians (except for the clerk and recorder; I don’t see how a Christian could issue gay marriage licenses), but pastors aren’t teaching the Bible. I don’t know of any pastors in the state of Colorado who speak on the matter of theft via taxation or might discuss the proper course of action for someone who works for the clerk and recorder and is asked to issue gay licenses or what the congregation’s response to gay marriage ought to be. As far as I know they all ignore it, and I’m sick of it.

Here’s a good example of a celebrity, conservative pastor who doesn’t know his right hand from his left hand.

Some Comments About Police Killings

When I started working on the page listing those who have been murdered by police, I was just planning on listing those who I know have been murdered that I can remember. But then, I decided that it would be worthwhile to go through the list of people killed in September 2016 and see if I can figure out whether they were murdered or whether their killing was justified.

There are a couple of constraints on that idea, and here are my thoughts after nearly completing going through the September list.

The First Lesson

If the dead civilian is found with a gun, there seems to be extremely little information on that shooting. If you google the guy’s name, there will be several articles that come up that were written within a day or two of the death, and then nothing. Nothing. It’s as if no one questions the cops if the guy had a gun.

Liberals don’t like guns, so I think for the most part, they will write off the victim. Conservatives love guns, but apparently they love cops more. Conservatives forget that guns are perfectly legal, and shooting a cop may be justified. If a cop feels threatened, that’s good enough for conservatives.

Here are three examples of several from September 2016 where there is very little information to go on. I don’t know if these guys were murdered or not, because all I have to go on is what the cops say.

  • Jesse Joynt

Second Lesson

The second lesson is related to the first lesson. I’m sure I’m not the first one to notice that if a person has a gun, or may be involved in a crime, society will forget them, and assume the cops were justified. Cops have noticed this as well.

In those deaths where there is little information to go on, the initial reports of the shooting are the only real information, and it will just say that the officer who fired felt threatened when the person pulled a gun. Maybe that’s true and maybe it’s not but I DON’T BELIEVE A SINGLE WORD THE U.S. GOVERNMENT UTTERS. Sometimes they tell the truth and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes the cop was justified, but there are known instances of police throwing a gun down next to the dead body of their victim.

(By the biblical standard, if the cop drew their gun and pointed it at the person first, the person was justified in drawing their gun and shooting.)

Then, if it was local police, they call in a different (probably state) law enforcement agency to investigate the shooting. The investigating agency is supposed to be impartial, but how is it impartial? It’s cops investigating cops; government investigating government. Even if that weren’t completely bogus, cops are held to an unbiblical, unjust standard of murder.

Conclusion

I can’t go through and investigate every murder in September. We hope the media will do it. We hope the media will act as a government watchdog, but are they? I don’t know. It doesn’t appear to be in many of the instances of police killings.

If there is little information to go on, I have to take the word of the police and the media. Those names can’t go on my list of police murders. But I wonder what percentage of those should be on my list.

My plan going forward is to investigate the local police killings when they occur, because I don’t trust the local media to get off their rear ends and do it. I would encourage you to do the same. Be a government watchdog, whether it’s police abuse or trying to figure out whether there’s waste in the budget.

No matter how you look at it, police murder a lot of people in this country. You need to worry more about the danger posed by cops than that posed by Islam.

Ten Difficult Truths

You probably won’t hear this from many pulpits, but the Bible teaches these truths. If you want to learn more, I can help point you in the right direction. These have not been easy pills for me to swallow, and I suspect they won’t be easy for most others, but Christians are to be truth seekers and tellers, regardless of the consequences.

  1.  The U.S. government at every level is antichrist. It is your enemy.
  2. The U.S. dollar system/federal reserve is sinful.
  3. Public school is a sin. Sending your kids there is a sin.
  4. The American law enforcement system is sinful and needs to be abolished.
  5. Drugs aren’t illegal under God’s law, and only tyrants are in favor of them being illegal under man’s law.
  6. Taxation is theft, voting for a tax increase is a sin.
  7. To have government agents controling the border is sinful.
  8. Requiring driver’s licences, building permits, liquor licences, business licences and on and on is a sin.
  9. Prison/jail is an unjust, wicked punishment.
  10. The U.S. has fought many unjust wars, and having a standing army is a judgment from God.

I’m not offering my opinion. These items are biblical truths. You are sinning if you send your kids to public school, are in favor of closed borders, support police, are in favor of keeping drugs illegal, vote for tax increases, etc.

These are controversial topics, but like I said, I’d be happy to explain why these items are true from the Bible.

Something to Think About

This is from a random commenter. I don’t know who the guy is, but it is interesting.

Ok…I’ve been relatively quiet about this topic for a long time…
But, considering all we’ve been seeing lately, and your Biblically consistent view, I must say something…

I had the privilege of working with the K9 units of many law enforcement agencies, both local and from other cities and states.  Did I work with all LEOs?  No.  Did I work with the leadership?  Generally, no.  However, I worked, daily and consistently, with the head of our county’s K9 unit and the SWAT leader.  I interacted with police officers from many areas, cities, counties, states, and varying responsibilities  (K9, patrol, SWAT, task force, highway, etc.).
The one thing I took away from all that despite the (few) shining examples of honest men of integrity…never, ever, not for one moment, trust a police officer.  Yes, they serve a valuable role in our society.  But, there is a systemic racism and god-complex among the vast majority of the officers I knew, worked with, had lunch and dinner with and hung out with.  The prevailing mentality among the guys I knew was “I have a badge and a gun; I own you.”  (Yes, this is a direct quote from more than one police officer I had the privilege of working with).

There is absolutely no doubt that a “us (police) vs. them (citizens)” mentality exists.  I would argue that it is prevalent.  I would argue that it is the norm.  I could tell you stories that would turn your stomach.  Lives lost.  Freedoms taken away.  Power abused.
Don’t get me wrong, our police force serves a valuable role in our society and I do very much respect those who wear the uniform…if they do so with integrity.  However, I’ve found that those who do are the minority.  I hope and pray that I’m wrong, but it seems, daily, that I’m shown to be right.

I know you are catching some flack…keep telling the truth, keep exposing the darkness, keep speaking out.  We need more Christian voices speaking on this issue.  Ultimately it’s a Gospel issue, we cannot remain silent.

People Like This Is Why We Live In a Police State

If you want to really disrespect the sacrifice of American service men, the story below is the perfect way. America’s military has shed their blood for our rights and this guy just gives them up to government enforcers as if they’re worthless. Kaepernick has nothing on this guy.

And all of this is over having the incorrect sticker on a license plate. The whole thing presupposes that Americans don’t have the right to travel without government stickers.

If only the founding fathers had been such subservient bootlickers, the whole unfortunate misunderstanding with the British could have been avoided.

What’s below is lauded by conservatives, because they’re blinded by false patriotism and the worship of power. We have no knowledge of history because we’ve been educated by the government, for the government. The government  doesn’t like people looking too closely at the ideas of the founding fathers, since they rebelled against their government for far less than we put up with.

July 17 ·

Today I was pulled over by police. I had a loaded and concealed handgun on me at the time. Please keep in mind that my actions were completely voluntary for one simple reason. This is what happened.

He approached the drivers side and asked if I knew why he stopped me and I said I did not. He said my registration expired June 30 of 2016. He asked to see my drivers license, registration, and insurance card. As I kept my hands firmly locked at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel I immediately stated…..

“For your safety and mine sir I would like to inform you that I am a legally armed citizen. I have a concealed carry permit in my wallet. I don’t want to get my registration and insurance card because I have my pistol in the same compartment as my documents. The pistol is in the small compartment under the cup holder. Please be careful, there is a round in the chamber, the thumb safety is on, and there’s an extra magazine with it.”

He asked that I keep my hands on the wheel like they were and asked again where my handgun was. He asked where my wallet was with my permit card. I answered and then said…..

” I would like you to take possession of the handgun. I’ll get out of the truck if you want me to while you get it.” He told me that would be great and thanked me for my cooperation.

When I got out of the truck he wouldn’t turn his back to me. I asked if he would like to search me for any other weapons so he knew I wasn’t a threat. He said….

“If you don’t mind that would be great. Do you have any other firearms or weapons on you or in the truck?” I replied that I did not.

The police officer searched me and retrieved my handgun from the compartment with my documents and asked permission to retrieve my drivers license and conceal carry permit from my wallet. I gladly gave him permission to get what he needed. I also gave him permission to search the rest of my truck if he wanted to if he felt it necessary. The officer declined the consent I gave him to search.

After all the formalities the cop brought my pistol back to me and I said “If you want you can just lay everything on the drivers seat and I’ll get it when we’re done.”

I thanked him for being as calm as he was especially dealing with someone that had a handgun that was legally carried. The cop thanked me for my cooperation. He asked me to sign the warning ticket and to make sure to get my registration taken care of ASAP.

I thanked him and the back up officer for their service and told them to be safe, especially nowadays with all the crazy shit that was going on. I told them that was the reason I carry a handgun myself. I shook both of their hands. He handed me my warning and I went on my way.

After the cold blooded terrorist attack and hate crime in #Dallas and that day learning about #BatonRouge where the blood spilled still fresh in the minds of every American I chose to do what I thought was right.

The moral of the story.

It’s about everyone’s safety.

It’s about respect.

When you treat people with civility you get treated with civility.

Thank you Altoona Police Department for having professional law enforcement officers representing your department and protecting the well being of the city.
