Swarms of Officers

Operating a business in this country is living out the Declaration of Independence. One of the grievances listed says, “He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.”

Some pencil pusher from the state asked my partner if he’s filled out a DR740XYZ form the other day. Who knows what that form is about, but I’m sure it is so that they can tax us more efficiently.

In America in 1776, was it worse than what I’m going through today? I don’t know, but I’m dealing with city, county and the state in this deal from tax agents to building inspectors, and it never seems to end. Even the feds have requirements for flood insurance. The government has their hand in every aspect of the business.

When are the American people going to wake up? When are we going to realize this isn’t the land of the free anymore?

What More Do You Need?

hitler5We’re all at a different place in noticing things. Some people notice them quickly, and some were busy when certain things were happening or whatever. But, anyone reading this no longer has an excuse.

The U.S. Navy is naming an oil ship after Harvey Milk, a gay rights activist from the 1970s. 

We think of nations as being on the right side or the wrong side. The USSR was on the wrong side, Nazi Germany, Castro’s Cuba, etc. They were doing evil things. They also do some good things, right? They’re not 100% evil–no one can be. But they were on the wrong side.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but when your nation names a navy ship after a flagrant homosexual, you’re on the wrong side.

Maybe you’re not as bad as the USSR who killed 20 million people. Woops. We’ve dwarfed their 20 million with our 60 million aborted babies.

Maybe you’re not as bad as Nazi Germany starting unjust wars. Woops. The Iraq war is unjust, and has killed millions of innocent Iraqis, and has decimated the Christian population of Iraq, which was living in peace.

Maybe you’re not as socialist as the Cuban commies. Woops. We’ve recently socialized 14% of our economy under Obamacare. And we’ve had socialist public schools, police, fire services, roads, libraries, and on and on for a long time.

In case you missed all of those items, the U.S. Navy has named a ship after a homosexual rights activist. If that isn’t blatant, in-your-face evil, I don’t know what is.

Does this cause you to doubt whether you should say the pledge of allegiance? Does it make you wonder what you should do the next time you’re at a sporting event, and they play the Star Spangled Banner? I hope it does. I hope them naming this ship after this guy is a straw that breaks the camel’s back for many people.

Biblical Pledges of Allegiance

I saw this post on Facebook listing the pledges of allegiance in the Bible. They’re in the Bible, so that means they’re biblical, right? I hope these make you think about whether saying the pledge of allegiance to the American flag is a good idea.

Daniel 3:3-6 Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. What Should I Do?

If the article I posted on Friday was the first time you were exposed to that information, I hope you are in shock. The whole system, down to the cash in your pocket is a fraud. It is all completely unbiblical.

doi3I realize that can be a hard pill to swallow. It’s been hard for me, as it’s no longer possible to be a patriotic American. Independence Day is no longer a day of celebration but a day of mourning and repentance.

But the question is now: What should we do? The purpose of this blog is to work toward secession from this wicked country. That is the ultimate goal, but sometimes I see how even the people in this conservative county act, and I get discouraged at how far away people are from the truth.

So if we can’t secede as a group today, what can we do personally, and to help work toward that goal?

  1. We need to buy gold, silver and bitcoin.
  2. Buy guns and ammo.
  3. Take your kids out of public school.
  4. Plan for a retirement apart from social security, so you don’t have to accept their stolen money.
  5. Get the Cell 411 app on your phone (free) to help eliminate your dependence on police.
  6. Spread the gospel by preaching, conversation, tracts, online, etc.
  7. Film the police and keep local government accountable.
  8. Try to work outside of the system as much as possible (hire illegal immigrants, do remodeling without permits, etc.).

Political Problems

Politics isn’t the solution to our problem. This quote I found sums up my thoughts on the presidential election:

I’m not a Trump guy. I want to watch the whole immoral and idolatrous thing to burn to the ground. My vote is for a tub of popcorn and my couch, as I watch God’s righteous wrath fall on a rebellious and God-hating land.

The federal, state and local governments are antichrist. They deny Him in thought, word and deed. There is no longer any use for any of it, but the federal government is particularly evil. There are no good candidates, and the only possible solution is secession.

I stopped pledging allegiance to this evil country. The words in the pledge aren’t even true. There is no justice for all when we’ve murdered 55 million babies.

I’m opposed to investing one more minute of my life worried about who the president is. Our time should be spent in evangelism, teaching the Word of God, and working locally to resist federal and state tyranny.

Have You Been Bought?

I had a great, encouraging conversation with a few friends. I didn’t even bring up the subject, but another guy asked whether I would take part in a secessionist movement. Obviously, I’m all for it, and I said so. Everyone else said so too, with one guy saying he’d have to wait and see what the principles of the new nation would be.

I also agree with that. I wouldn’t be in favor of blindly seceding even if the secessionists were a bunch of communists. But I think the assumption behind the question was that it would be a move in a positive direction, and the gist of the question was: would you be willing to stand against old Uncle Sam?

I pointed out that at the very least it would cost us Social Security, public school, etc. And those are really no big deal– things that I’d love to be rid of–but I’m not dependent on those things like other people. But there are other ways that even middle and upper class people can be bought off without being on the government dole.

The guy who said he’d have to see what the principles of the new country would be before answering the question said something like, “In Mexico, the cops can come arrest you for no reason and hold you indefinitely. In America, things certainly aren’t perfect, but if I want a big steak, I have the ability to get one right now.”

That guy isn’t on any type of government assistance, but he’s been bought off with a comfortable lifestyle. Before the housing bubble popped, I heard stories of people who would refinance their house every year and take a $30,000 out. Obviously, that’s an example of foolishness and false wealth, and I’m sure people like that were the first to be foreclosed on in 2008. Those people were bought off by a mirage of wealth created by government meddling.

How else is the US government creating a mirage of wealth for us? The Federal Reserve has kept interest rates artificially low for seven years or so.

  • The currency we use is not backed by anything, they can print as much of it as they like.
  • There are many people and companies that have made a killing off of government programs.
  • There are many people and companies that have made a killing off of supplying the military for endless wars.
  • New York City created taxi medallions that were once worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. They are essentially government permits to operate a taxi, but new technologies have made them nearly worthless (at least last I heard).

I’m sure there are many other ways and other government programs that people use to earn their living or that government uses to create the illusion of wealth. Essentially, who knows what is real and what is fake when the whole system is manipulated by the government?

What it boils down to is that we can buy a big, juicy steak any time we like, and life is pretty comfortable. Why rock the boat when you have a nice retirement coming up in a few years, and a big screen TV? Well, I don’t want to just rock the boat; I want to sink it. 55 million babies have been murdered, and if that was the only justification for secession, it would be enough.

The standard for the righteousness isn’t Mexico, or any other country. The standard is God’s Word.

I spent most of this article answering the objections of my friend, but overall it was an encouraging conversation where I discovered that many people see things the way I do, and are willing to do something about it. If you think talking is going to fix this country’s problems, you better be talking about secession.

Quest for a Christian Republic

This is from a Facebook friend, Bill Evans, who has clearly thought a lot about secession:

I appreciate the thoughtful, comprehensive labor of Dr. Joel McDurmon, in his epic work Restoring America One County at a Time.

I am of the unpopular opinion, however, that should Christians capture a controlling interest in a state OR COUNTY government, their best move would be to “come out and be ye separate.” For what association does light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14-18) They should declare, in the loudest possible voice, their peaceful separation from darkness, and the creation of an Independent Christian Republic, recognizing the Triune God- Father, Son & Holy Spirit, as the Sovereign King, and His Law the only basis of righteous governance.

This is a move of the most bold and radical sort; the only type calculated to, in effect, reset liberty established on the only solid foundation. This was our earliest founders’ (the pilgrims) prescription, albeit was hijacked by deists, masons and proponents of natural law.

The right, and some would say the duty, of secession is enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, and not prohibited by the US Constitution. But I would not establish this new birth of freedom upon the justification of any previous secession attempts in American history, although both the secession of 1775 and 1861, we’re morally justified.

Instead, I would reference the Biblical precedent for secession; namely, the exodus of God’s people out of Egypt. The Most High delivered His people out of the system in which they were enslaved. He did not change the system, nor would He change them, while they were still part of it. Pastor John Weaver has explained that the biblical model for secession is found in 1 King’s 12, where God causes Jeroboam and the Northern tribes to secede from the tyranny of King Rehoboam.

Secession could, pragmatically speaking, be accomplished at the state level, with it’s existing, working governmental apparatus. It would still immediately need to be downsized however, with the virtual elimination of many agencies, offices, departments and bureaus.

I foresee that this move would create an instant war of words, but also an instantaneous mass influx of like-minded families. At the same time, members of the parasite class, and career bureaucrats and statists would flee to the loving arms of their nanny state.

This is preferable, and more humane than attempting the disestablishment of the existing national- socialist safety net, upon which tens of millions have come to rely. Separating the feeders from the government teat, would likely kill both. This new venture in self government under God would needs be voluntary.

As I have often defended, while this move would be animated by a zeal for a new haven of righteousness (2 Peter 3:13), this should not be confused with pietism. I envision that city on a hill, that calls to those weary and heavy laden, in the Name of Christ the King and His obedient civil magistrates. This would be a refitted launching platform from which to reengage evil and extend the Kingdom of God, without the impediment of government trying to be god.

Humanly speaking, I believe we might find giving birth easier than raising the dead.

How many generations would it conceivably take to achieve these advances working within our current system, if at all?

Sanctuary Cities Prove My Concept Right

The purpose of this website is to promote the idea that a county or city or some other small group of people could secede from the union, or as an alternative to formally seceding just ignore whatever the federal or state government tells them to do that they don’t like.

Sanctuary cities are in the news and the republican presidential candidates are shocked and confused that cities are ignoring laws they don’t like, and have been doing so for decades in some cases. Of course sanctuary cities are resisting federal tyranny in the form of immigration laws. Where a county clerk makes a sanctuary county to resist same-sex “marriage” they make campaign appearances. So they’ve revealed themselves to be hypocrites with a double standard.

The GOP candidates aren’t against locals flouting federal tyranny. They’re against allowing “illegal” immigrants to stay in the country.

This nation was founded on the idea that there is a law superior to the laws of men. Where the laws of men contradict God’s laws, it is the duty of the people to resist those laws, for they are no laws at all. That is the whole point of this website and what I’ve been saying for quite a while now.
